Hello lovelies

So something a little different today, but I hope you have your oven mittens ready. Today I'm sharing with you my favourite, simple and easy muffin recipe with a Winter twist that will soon get you in that Christmassy mood! This recipe will make 12 large muffins. So here is what you will need

Two Eggs

200g Caster Sugar

250ml Milk

125ml Vegetable Oil

400g Plain Flour

3tsp Baking Powder

1tsp Salt

Cocoa Powder

One
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6 or a medium temperature and line muffin tray with paper muffin cases

Two
Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl and then mix in the oil and milk, then add the sugar and whisk it until it has completely dissolved

Three
Sift in the dry ingredient's; flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until completely smooth

Four
Now add in cocoa powder, for this also sift to get rid of any lumps. Add as much or as little as you like depending on how strong you want them to be. Then add Ginger

Five
Add in Hazelnut's, again as many or as little as you like

Six
Full the muffin cases two thirds full ( this I important for the perfect size muffins ) and bake in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes

Leave to cool or enjoy them warm. Either way these are a great little treat for this time of year and are so simple. I like to have mine with a cup of tea! I hope you have enjoyed the post and don't forget to follow me on bloglovin

Hello my lovely readers

I hope you are all having a great week and getting more and more into that cosy Christmas sprit because I know I am. Today we are talking about the new Co Lab dry shampoo available in Superdrug. I have lots to tell you about this handy product, enjoy!

Introducing Colab, a dry shampoo range of 5 scents founded by the wonderful blogger and model Ruth Crilly.  The range is pretty new to Superdrug and is available in 200ml for £3.99 and this handy 50ml for £2. I picked up London as I have seen so many great reviews on this scent and I have to say I love it, and without sounding odd, it smells like Christmas day? No, seriously its wonderful!

The range is made up of London classic, Paris floral, Rio tropical, New York fruity and Tokyo oriental. The scents all smell great and are very different to your average dry shampoo. These smell like body spray but for your hair. The packaging is also sleek and stylish, I love that they also come in 50ml because its important to have handbag friendly products. I think the smaller bottles are great for those of you who have busy lives and need a quick freshen up after the gym

The price is also very reasonable, especially for the 200ml bottle, I feel like this is a product that would last a fair while. I little goes a long way.

The main thing that drew me to this product was the 'sheer invisible formula', as many of you will understand some dry shampoo can leave massive white patches in your hair and leave it feel very sticky. The formula in CoLab is very lightweight but yet effective, it also adds a great amount of volume to your hair, as well as making you smell lovely!

I think the key ingredient for healthy hair is to not wash it every single day, because that over time will strip the oils from your hair and leaving it feeling dry and lifeless. I tend to wash my hair every 3 or 4 day and feel dry shampoo is needed on two day old hair. Using dry shampoo and washing your hair less will help your hair in so many ways. My hair is growing out from a pixie cut and the less I wash it, the faster it grows. My hair also feels a lot softer and looks healthy. So if you are always on the go, want to wash you hair less or you just love dry shampoos I would highly recommend this product, it absorbs the oils in your hair instantly, smells great and is such a good price!

I'm sorry I haven't yet posted my 'what's in my GlossyBox ', unfortunately my GlossyBox still hasn't arrived ( :( ) Hopefully I should be able to get it up Sunday or Monday! My next blog post will be on Sunday, get your baking heads on and ovens ready!

Hello lovely readers!
Just a little catch -up and chit chat. I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I was going to take Millie on a walk as seen in one of my last posts but it has been raining all day so I thought I would come on here and tell you all a little more about myself and get to know you all!

I've recently been really getting into my hot drinks because of the weather and one I love to make at home is hot chocolate or coffee with a little ginger in to give that warming winter taste! I also love Starbucks and their new Christmas range, my favourites are ginger spiced latte and the hazelnut hot chocolate. I'm also dying to try the Costa brownie hot chocolate and white hot chocolate. Mmm hot drinks are a must for this time of year, what is your favourite winter warming drink?

I am also waiting frantically today to hear back from a life changing job, lets just say I am very nervous to find out if I have got it or not. I'm super excited about it and it's something I can really get stuck into, so fingers crossed! If I do get it I will let you all know

Who is your favourite Youtuber lately? I have really been loving Tanya Burr and yesterday she revealed she is bring out a book next year! I am super excited and will be first in line in my local WHsmiths to get it! The book is going to be called 'Love Tanya' which I think is just lovely, it's going to be filled with her best memories, advise and her YouTube adventure. I am so proud of her, just weeks after her Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lash Launch as well, what a great inspiration

I have also been lovely EssieButton as well, if you don't know who she is you should really check out her blog and YouTube. She is a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger and Youtuber like Tanya. She is so lovely to watch and has the best beauty taste!

I hope you are all having a lovely Autumn so far, I am loving getting into my Christmas PJ's and drinking tea every night. So I hope you are all super cosy as well. My next blog post will be ' What's in my GlossyBox ' so I hope you are all excited for that because I can not wait for it to arrive! ( hurry up postman)

Love Sophie

Hello my lovely readers, today I am showing you the beautiful MUA undressed eye shadow palette that is not only gorgeous, but is extremely pigmented and only £4 in Superdrug. I know, I couldn't believe the price either. MUA has been a forever loved brand by me, especially if I am on a budget, their range is all under £5 but yet such good quality! I'd defiantly say its very similar to Make-Up Revolution and e.l.f for price and quality

From the top left is Puff, Rose Ash, Fawn, Gild Hazel and Lion. And from bottom left is Bronze Ore, Burnished Brown, Tawny, Henna, Fuel and Cool Grey.

Without a doubt this is my favourite palette right now. As you can see the shades are so beautiful. in the palette you get 12 shades, you get 10 shimmer shades and two mattes. These shades are perfect for Autumn and Winter, the darker shades are great for all those Christmas and New Year parties. These are not colours I would wear in the summer as they are very neutral wintery shades. I enjoy shimmery eye shadows for nights out, especially around Christmas time, so I love that this palette is mostly shimmers. The shimmers are very pigmented but not 'in your face', they are all very buildable and look great with an eye shadow primer

Here are a few of my personal favourites

Gild

Bronze Ore

Fuel

As you can see the colours are amazing and the pay off is great! Now for the parts I don't like, Like every MUA palette the brush is not a soft brush and I always throw them away. I usually apply my shadows with Bobbi Brown brushes, the one below is eye smudge.

I also don't like the packaging because I feel the shadows would break so easily if I was to drop it or carry it around. But then again, the palette is only £4 and I have no issues with the products at all. So as for packaging, if I was to smash this they are easily replaced

Overall this is my favourite nude and metallic palette to date. Its so lovely and I always look forward to wearing these shadows. They are so suitable for day and night time looks. If you are thinking about adding this to you collection, do it!

Thank you for reading my Monday blog post, I hope you enjoyed reading about this amazing product and I hope many of you go and check it out in Superdrug, if you do, let me know! I could also do a blog post on eye looks using this palette if anyone would like to see that? I hope you are all having a good day! And have a lovely week. I will be back on Thursday. I love these jeans, I found them in a charity shop for £3.99. They are great for winter and keep me lovely and warm, the boots are from H&M and are featured in an older blog post. Today we went to take Millie on a walk, she is a rescue dog and both me and my boyfriend have fallen in love with her. We really want to adopt her but will have to wait until we move

This is how I had my hair today to keep it out my face and still feel like I have done something with it, if you would like to know how I did this comment below and I will do a tutorial for you lovelies

Everyone say hello to the beautiful little Millie!

Hello my lovely readers! Today I'm going to show you my top 3 drugstore concealers, I'm very excited to show you these because a great concealer can make all the difference. So lets get started, enjoy!

So here are my very much loved top 3 concealers! On the left is the Collection lasting perfection, Rimmel wake me up and Essence stay all day. These are all great concealers but all do very different jobs. All of these concealers are under £8 which is fantastic for the quality you get

Introducing the forever loved by many bloggers and Youtubers, its Collections lasting perfection concealer in 1 Fair. This concealer is avaible in Boots and Superdrug in the UK and is around £5

This concealer is just amazing. I use it on any acne scars and under my eyes and its covers everything, while staying put all day. It is defiantly full coverage but doesn't feel too thick or anything. This concealer could cover anything and leave you with flawless looking makeup. I got the lightest shade and it defiantly brightens up under my eyes, cheek bones and forehead, since I have been using this I haven't felt the need to use highlighter because its so so brightening! It also claims to have 16 hour wear and with a primer it does stay put all day and doesn't move! 10/10 for this concealer I love it so much, wont miss this from my routine!

Next up is essence Stay All Day, I brought this from Wilkinson in the UK and it was £4 I believe. I'd never tried anything from essence before and really wanted to give them a go. So I started with this concealer and was very impressed. This concealer has a light to medium coverage and is very pigmented.

I have this concealer in 20 Soft Beige. It has a slight pink tone to it, but for more natural looking make-up its perfect. This doesn't cover blemishes as well as the Collection concealer does, because it has a very natural looking finish, so for any of you at school this would be perfect! Again with a primer this concealer seems to stay in place all day and doesn't smudge or move

The packing is very suitable for a make-up bag and defiantly wouldn't break

And finally we have the Rimmel Wake me up concealer. As many of you may know I'm a massive fan of the Rimmel Wake me up foundation during summer time because it has such a glowing finish. But that is not a look I like to wear during winter however its still nice to add a little pop under my eyes. This concealer is not something I would use to cover up blemishes, but like the foundation it really does wake my under eyes up. So whenever I need that little wake up I just apply this under my eyes

I think this concealer was around £7 but has lasted me around 6 months and I am only just starting to run out. This concealer is so radiant and glowing its a must have for my collection!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely start to November. This week has been pretty quite for me so guess what i did? Yes, I took advantage of boots 3 for 2 offer and did a small beauty shop, I've only got 4 products to show you today, but I love them all and hope to review them if that's something you'd want to see?

Boots have this great offer on at the moment on all of the make-up they sell, and although I've never tried one of the brands of make-up I brought, I've always wanted to try it, but for some reason, never have. So I finally brought some seventeen make-up and I can not wait to try some of these bits and bobs. Their make-up is so pretty, girly and the packaging is defiantly different.  So lets get started, Enjoy!

The first item I picked up was this gorgeous seventeen instant glow shimmer brick in pink bronze. And wow is this just not the most beautiful blush you've ever seen in you life? I can defiantly review this on Sunday if you guys want me to. This was only £5.99 and for that price I am very happy with what I got!

It has these pretty shades of pale pink and light bronze which is perfect for my skin tone, and makes a great lighter bronze shade for the winter! Super happy with this product

The next product I brought was Rimmel London's Brow This Way Sculpting Kit. I can not wait to try this!  I brought this because I have recently been using Make-Up Revolutions brow kit, but no matter how much a clean it, the power just makes it look messy every time I open it, so I thought I'd treat myself to a new brow kit. Again I can review this if you want me to! I must say Rimmel are one of my favourite drugstore brands so I guessing I will be impressed with this. I have this product in the shade 002 medium brown and it looks like it is perfect for my brows. I find a lot of medium brow products are usually still too dark for me, but this looks just right!

The product itself comes with a brown gel and lighter powder. You also get a double ended brow brush and a brow comb

Next up is a foundation. Yes I was naughty and brought another foundation but I just can not help myself! So this is seventeen's miracle matte foundation in the shade soft ivory. It claims to have a satin flawless finish so I am super excited to try this out. The packaging is not very 'expensive' and not something I would normally go for ( I'm a beauty addict that doesn't like pink, oh dear ) but its does the job!

If any of you have used this foundation comment below and let me know what you think, I've look at reviews and have lots of mixed messages! But I will be wearing it all day tomorrow ( today for you guys ) so check out my instagram @missfixedbeauty and I will keep you all updated on this little product which I will be wearing with the next product

Last but not least I got this primer from seventeen. My skin always looks great when I use benefits porefessional primer, so I thought I spread my wings and try more pore minimising primers. The packaging is slightly weird because it comes as a solid product, but we will soon find out how well this works!

Thank you for reading my little drugstore haul I hope you all enjoyed reading! Make sure to follow me on blog lovin and if you like on instagram @missfixedbeauty where you can see my make-up messes everyday! Comment which product you would like me to review for Sundays post! Happy Thursday, have a lovely day
